All wrestlers receive a 2 pound growth allowance starting Jan 1st..This means if your weight class was 106 it is now 108....

Also for school night meets you can (weigh-in) in the morning before class and if you make weight you will get an additional 3 pound allowance for weigh ins that evening..

That means for this Thursday if your weight class is 120, you must weigh-in at 122lbs or below in the morning..... eat healthy during the day and when you weigh-in against Durfee that evening you must weigh 125lbs or below

This Wednesday 1/1/14....all wrestlers are invited to a group practice with Sandwich and Nauset at Compass Athletics in Sandwich from noon - 2pm ..this is not a mandatory practice but all wrestlers are encouraged to attend

• Varsity...Marshfield Tournament Friday 12/27/13..This is a great 2 day tournament with 32 teams and some tough competition. Fridays bus will be leaving BHS very early (exact time TBD)... must qualify for Saturday and there is no bus to Marshfield HS    
• JV... Marshfield Tournament..Sunday 12/29/13.. All JV Wrestlers and any Varsity wrestlers that did not qualify for Saturday are invited..This is a very well run JV Tournament and will be great experience for all JV wrestlers... there is no bus to Marshfield HS  
• Coach Mark Barrett will be helping out at Thursday's practice from 9am to 11am
• Pictures...check out the Gallery Page on the website for some great action shots from Silver Lake and Braintree... Also anyone who is at the JV Tournament and gets some pictures please forward them to djc331@gmail.com
• Team Travels to Durfee immediately after the holiday break on 1/2/14 at 6pm
• Whitman Hanson Tournament on 1/4/14 is a unique tournament that combines varsity and some select JV players as well
• Our first home dual meet will be against New Bedford on 1/8/14 at 6pm... we will be looking for volunteers to help work the snack bar as well as product donation to sell... such as waters, gatorade, energy bars etc.  please contact Chris Connor at cassea65@gmail.com if you can help

Winter Break Schedule

Hello everyone, we have 3 practices and 3 competition dates over the winter break.  Transportation to the competition is provided only on Friday 12/27 the bus departs at 7:00 a.m.      

Practices dates Monday 12/23/13, Thursday 12/26/13, and Monday 12/30/13
will be from .....9:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m.

The Marshfield Holiday Tournament is on Friday 12/27/13 for varsity only with weigh-in at 8:00 a.m. and first round at 10:30 a.m. and Saturday 12/28/13 for qualifiers from Friday.
Remember no transportation today.

The Marshfield Junior Varsity competition is Sunday 12/29/13 weigh-in at 8:00 a.m. first round at 10:00 a.m.  I need to know ahead of time which JV wrestlers are attending.  Varsity wrestlers who do not qualify to continue on Friday should enter this JV tournament.

Great Day at Silver Lake Quad

Coach Bertucci was very pleased with the outcome of Saturday's Quad Meet at Silver Lake. His Team went undefeated with 2 wins & 1 tie

Barnstable Heads to Silver Lake to take on the host team plus Bristol Plymouth, Carver and Weymouth in the first Super Quad of the Season.. The team has been practicing very hard and looks like they are in good shape from top to bottom.. Good Luck Red Raiders..Wrestle Hard!!!
